We are pleased to share this Final 2017 Legislative Report with you, our member organizations and supporters, to let you know what happened this year at the Georgia General Assembly. This was a good session for affordable housing with enactment of legislation that addresses valuation of low income housing tax credit properties (HB 285/HB 196), strengthens eminent domain tools for locales to ameliorate blight (HB 434), and creates Study Committees on homelessness (SR 352) and low income housing tax credits (HR 798).
