On Thursday, March 1, over 70 individuals representing non-profits, for-profits, and grassroots citizens attended Housing Georgia and Georgia ACT’s Annual Housing Day at the Capitol. Housing advocates, from as far away as Warner Robins and Valdosta, engaged Governor Nathan Deal, Georgia State Senate and House Representatives, and other elected officials on affordable housing issues and advocated for legislation that supports affordable housing and community development initiatives throughout the State of Georgia.
